MDCA instructor: Susan Grogan. This class will explore color, composition, and watercolor techniques in this beginner watercolor class. Each session is new and different so you are encouraged to take this class as often as you wish.
Challenge yourself with new techniques as well as sharpen your skills in watercolor. This class will cover value, color mixing, composition, and design. Instructor: Susan Grogan
Instruction-based workshop for the beginning digital art student. Suitable for ages 40+
Open to ages 6-12 with half day and full day options. Students will learn how to create art using many different mediums and techniques.
Paint on location from dawn to dusk and return your artwork to the Art Center anytime before Saturday October 18th at 12PM. We will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes at 5PM in the MDCA gallery Saturday October 18, 2025.
The theme for this popular, timed event is held during and at the Mount Dora Plant and Garden Fair. Artwork must be submitted by 1 PM. We will award a $100 cash prize for the best Quick Draw painting at the stage in Donnelly Park.
